supercalifragilisticEXPOalidocious DAY

EXPO DAY!
Good Luck Flowers, Balloon and Beers
from the crew in my office!

I can't believe how quick this week went by!  I had to wrap up alot at work to prepare to be out for Monday (RACE DAY) and Tuesday (RECOVERY DAY).  It just seems too soon to be saying EXPO day!  The day went by too quickly.  I planned on being wrapped up at work by 5PM, since the Sports Expo was only open until 7PM.  Things did come up, and I didn’t get down to the convention center until 6PM.  I wanted to get everything out of the way today, leaving me Saturday and Sunday to stay away from the crowds and at home with my feet up on the couch!  I had only an hour to get my bib number, get my swag from vendors, purchase something from the official addidas marathon store and get out!  The Expo is basically the kick-off to Marathon weekend---makes it seem so much more real!  It was the first thing I had on my “TO DO” list for “Marathon Weekend”

My official Bib!!

The new finish line, I wouldn't cross over it until
Monday!

The possibilities are ENDLESS is what was
written above me (bad photographer)

With the Expo checked off my list, just a few more things to do before I tie up my laces on Monday Morning:
Friday
  1. Expo
  2. Buy new LuLu skirt?-No, didn’t really like the ones they have so far this season
  3. See the new finish line, but don’t cross over it!

Saturday
  1. Go for a 2-3 mile run
  2. Get new hair elastics
  3. Pedicure-yes, before the race because I won’t want anyone touching my feet after 26.2 miles
  4. Buy “throw away clothes” at Salvation Army-wash throw away clothes

Sunday
  1. Get up no later than 7AM (want to be able to sleep tonight)
  2. Run to Mass Eye and Ear
  3. Mass Eye and Ear Brunch @ 10AM
  4. Make list of things to pack for race day
  5. Yoga @ 5PM
  6. Mom and Dad over for dinner
  7. Pack my race bag

AHH!  These four months went by way too quick-Am I ready for this?  Is my tendonitis going to bother me Monday?  Will the weather be ok?   What can I do to stop asking these questions over and over again???
